I was age four when my mother received a call from A S D James & Tatton. A kind employee asked if she was aware that a young child was using the line to get a quote for many tonnes of high-tensile steel. I planned to turn it into roller coaster track with some help from my elderly next-door neighbour. I didn’t intend to build it in my garden - that would be preposterous! I had saved up £60 to buy (the recently for sale) Trentham Gardens. It was all part of my well-considered plan to rival Alton Towers. Unfortunately, I was quickly outbid. A few years later, I made my first failed attempt at a planning application. Undeterred, the younger me kept trying. I haven’t stopped trying.
I am captivated by the magic of themed and interactive experiences; fascinated by the combination of creative and technical disciplines that make it all possible. As a young person, I could always be found in attractions – where a lifelong obsession was born! I greatly admire the craft involved in producing impactful experiences. I am a Leeds Conservatoire graduate (BA 1:1, MA Dist.) and Conservatoire Award Winner (Valedictorian). I currently work as a Producer at PHMG - the world leaders in audio branding. My studies emphasised the importance of being a well-rounded and adaptable professional, with a broad skill set applicable to a plethora of creative scenarios. My experience at PHMG has further strengthened this. In my free time, I have dedicated myself to becoming a skilled and well-rounded creative - with themed entertainment as the main focus.
